Kid's on the Go! A-Thon" on Star-102

Variety - tent 8 hosted their third annual radiothon on march 24-25, 2009.

Partnered with star 102 radio station, Variety's "Kids On The Go-Athon" mobility program raises funds for Kansas City's special needs children.

The mobility program includes, but is not limited to, wheelchairs (specialized and other), wheelchair lifts, wheelchair ramps, bicycles (specially equipped for the disabled, ) prostetic limbs, and sunshine coaches.

And as you can see below, a good time was had by all! 

Buddy Bear Presentation 

Any donor that donated $200.00 or more got the privilege of presenting a Buddy Bear to a special needs child at a movie presentation party.

This year's movie party was held on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the AMC Town Center 20 in Leawood, Kansas.

Special needs children and their families were invited to attend a free showing of "Monsters Vs. Aliens"
