Lunden
Lunden is a six-year old with a huge heart! All the special needs equipment that she outgrows is donated for other families in need and currently she is growing out her hair for Locks of Love! Her disability is challenging – Periventricular Leukomalacia – and this year alone she has had three major surgeries and was in a coma for eight days. Facing another surgery, it was discovered that she doesn’t have the appropriate seating option for post-surgery life. She needs a P Pod Seating System for a comfortable, safe, and mobile seating position. With this chair she can transfer easily, use its tray for school and play, and play with her friends from something other than a laying down position.
