Kaytlynn is an active little girl that covers a lot of ground; that’s quite an accomplishment given her very restricted visual fields.
Traditional bicycles are too dangerous for her and the risk of falling is too great. However, a recumbent bike would allow her to safely ride bikes with her friends, but keep her safe by keeping her low to the ground. During the recent radiothon for adaptive bicycles, generous Variety donors were able to provide a recumbent bike for Kaytlynn and she is back outside with her friends – exactly where she wants to be.
