My Community Application

Variety KC’s Community Program was established to provide grants to businesses that are looking to build a more inclusive space in their business and/or community. Examples include capital projects, playgrounds, sensory rooms, equipment, universal changing tables, sensory bags, communication and sign language boards, parking signs, sports wheelchairs, and more. If you do not see something that your business would benefit from, please apply and Variety KC will review.

Funding Guidelines

Variety KC’s community grant funding is privately raised, and we are intentional about directing those dollars toward projects that create broad access and meaningful impact across our community. Because of these funding guidelines, we are not able to provide grants directly to schools, religious organizations, or political parties or activities.

Even when direct funding is not available, we are always happy to be a resource and advocate for accessibility. We are glad to share ideas, connect organizations with helpful resources, and support efforts that help create more inclusive spaces for children and families.
