Skate School with KC Mavericks – Jan 7

Mavericks players will host skates for children from Variety KC, providing opportunities to skate alongside them. These sessions will promote interaction, build selfconfidence, teach new skills, and celebrate the joy of hockey.
Each skate will be family-friendly, allowing parents and siblings to participate. This creates a space for families to bond, enjoy hockey, and connect with players and other families.
The partnership emphasizes inclusivity and support for children with disabilities. Mavericks players will inspire a sense of belonging by skating with the kids, both in and out of the sleds, showing that they can achieve their dreams.
Jan. 7th: 10 Variety KC kids/families with 10 Mavericks players from 4:00 – 5:30 PM.
