Meet the Kids – Brantley!

If you believe every kid should be active, be social, and belong – please donate today

Brantley is a non-verbal 2-year old boy.  He exhibits sensory seeking behaviors and has a developmental delay in expressive language. Brantley has not yet started communicating using words. He is beginning to use pictures to get a preferred food or movie. He will also use two signs, including one for, “more” and one to indicate that he wants food and drink. With trials on an iPad with TouchChat, Brantley has been able to push a button to get what he wants. Brantley’s developmental delays, specifically communication barriers and distractibility have many challenges. Giving him a voice and his family a way to communicate effectively and meet his wants and needs appropriately would be a huge gift for the entire family.  The ability to communicate would have an enormous and lifelong impact on Brantley and his future potential.
