Brooke has Down Syndrome, Developmental and Cognitive Delays – yet that isn’t enough to slow her down! Brooke actively participates in school, therapy and a happy family life. iPad programs and therapy have enhanced Brooke’s communication skills a great deal, but that therapy is limited to school. Her parents are dedicated to her education and development and strive to provide what they can, but this expense is beyond their means and there is no living extended family around to possibly assist. So Variety embraced Brooke as part of its family! She has the communication devices she needs at home and a large family of Variety families, supporters and partners in our increasingly inclusive community.
