Evelyn is the sweetest and sassiest little girl. She has 1P36 deletion syndrome which means she is missing a piece of chromosome 1. For her this means that she has low muscle tone and developmental delays. She does not let this stop her.
She has made lots of progress since starting therapy at 10 months old. Her latest gain has been taking independent steps. Because communication is so difficult and can be frustrating, giving Evelyn a communication device will give her a way to tell her family her wants and needs.
