Meet the Kids – Felix!

If you believe every kid should be active, be social, and belong – please donate today

Here is a letter from Felix’s mom…We first noticed something with Felix at 4 months of age. He has been going to physical therapy, occupational therapy, feeding therapy, speech therapy, aquatic therapy, vision therapy and hippotherapy in some combination since 4 months of age. We received his official diagnosis at 1.5 years old when a full genome sequence was conducted. Felix gets frustrated easily because he knows what he wants to say or do, but lacks the ability to do it. This equipment would give Felix a way to communicate with us exactly what he’s trying to say and relieve frustration from everyone.

Felix is very warm and caring. He has a great sense of humor and is quite intelligent. He is a hard worker which is a blessing since most things are far more difficult with his syndrome. His favorite activities are going for walks in his toy car and playing in the pool. He also loves learning type electronic toys that are centered around numbers and letters. His favorite animal is a cow and his favorite color is and always has been black. He is very kind to his loving and supportive twin sister Savannah.
