Meet the Kids – Hudson!

If you believe every kid should be active, be social, and belong – please donate today

Hudson was born with spina bifida, a hole in his spine. It was closed the day after he was born. Shortly after his closure surgery he also developed meningitis and needed 2 weeks of IV antibiotics. In addition he requires shunt for his hydrocephalus. Despite Hudson‘s diagnoses, he continues to amaze his family and our community. We were told he may never be able to walk, but with the help of orthotics, he started walking shortly before his second birthday. He is one of the happiest and sweetest kids we know. He loves to play with his siblings and play outside. This piece of equipment would allow Hudson more independence, coordination and help him build his strength and endurance.
