Meet the Kids – Kaylee!

If you believe every kid should be active, be social, and belong – please donate today

Kaylee had a stroke in utero which caused damage to the right side of her brain. Due to her brain injury, she has cerebral palsy on her left side of her body.

Kaylee has to work hard on many daily tasks, but she doesn’t let that slow her down. She is very determined and has worked very hard in multiple therapies for years to get her where she is today. She walks with an abnormal gait, but she still tries to keep up with her siblings and peers to the best of her ability. She is very independent and doesn’t like to get help often, so the walk aide could really help her gait improve and allow her to move quicker. We are hopeful that with the help of a walk aide she will be able to jump, hop, and skip.
