Mason Silvey is twelve years old and one of four children. Mason was born with spina bifida, and is paralyzed from his waist down. He is the sweetest and most charming young man you will ever meet. He cares deeply about people and animals. Mason had undergone numerous surgeries due to his condition. From ankle surgery, shunt revisions, and eye surgery, Mason has more tests and surgeries to come to make his life a little easier to live independently.
His brothers and sister love to ride their bikes as part of their daily activities. The wheelchair bicycle will help him so much by allowing him to be even more independent and joining in on the fun and exercise. He does nothing but cheer his brothers and sister on in everything that they do and we want to be able to help him achieve something he so desperately wants.
Mason is a sweet, loving, passionate and selfless young man. While other kids may ask for the world Mason will not ask for much for himself but for everyone else. He is the biggest cheerleader for everyone around him and cares deeply for animals. He has the most beautiful eyes and smile and his laugh is just naturally contagious. He loves playing video games, being outdoors and loves weightlifting and watching his KC Chiefs. He wants to be able to be more active with his brothers and sister outside doing activities like swimming, fishing and boating. He is just a well rounded and loving individual.
