Moaa is a beautiful, kind, loving, and happy child. He was diagnosed with Autism at the age of two and has been getting speech therapy and ABA service ever since. His biggest challenge is lack of verbal communication, and the device is his only way of talking to the outside world. Prior to acquiring the device, Moaa struggled with getting his needs met due to the communication barrier and although most of his first few years were spend teaching him to communicate thru pictures, modeling, gestures, it only yielded minimal success & didn’t take him as far as he could have gone. In fact, there were times of frustration that manifested as aggression on his part. Once we got the device, his teachers and family worked very hard to get him to use it to communicate & after several months, he understood he can easily communicate with those around him, leading Moaa to have a better learning experience at school and better quality of life at home. We thank you for your consideration in this matter.
