Noah was born at 24 weeks. He was an inpatient for 7 and a half months. He was discharged with a tracheostomy and a ventilator. Noah weaned off the ventilator by 18 months, and at the age of 2 he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and non-focal epilepsy. Noah also has developmental delays and is non-verbal.
Noah is an awesome 5 year old boy who finds joy in everything that he does Noah loves spending time with his family and twin sister. Noah loves playing with his friends and being engaged in the classroom. Noah has started to use a power wheelchair and a communication device. We have seen such a growth in Noah since giving him the tools to move and communicate on his own. We have seen first hand the importance of inclusion.
Noah has used an adaptive bike at school while playing with his classmates. We can see him light up when being able to do the same activities as his peers. We know it would bring him such joy to be able to ride bikes with his twin sister Isabel. We are so excited at the option of Noah being able to ride in a bike that has the right equipment to keep him safe and allows him to enjoy the world around him. Noah is included in everything we do as a family and this gift would allow us more opportunities to be out together with our family, friends and neigbors.
