Grand Opening with Presentation of Summer Grants for kids with Disabilities

In addition to opening this amazing summertime fun facility, Variety will be presenting numerous mobility and communication grants to kids with special needs. AND – for a $5 donation to Variety, you can pick up a bike helmet to keep your child safe this summer.
Another area first, this inclusive splash pad has a train and train track theme with in-ground and overhead spray jets throughout. (And yes, of course – dump buckets!) The custom designed train serves as a tunnel that can accommodate walking, crawling and wheelchair users. Special lighting at the water jets allows this splash pad to be enjoyed even when the sun starts going down. The inclusive playground features wheelchair accessible equipment, new communication board and sign language board donated by Randi Mahomes!
