This may sound a little silly, but I remember watching the Variety Show Telethon on T V as a child. I enjoyed watching the money grow and hearing the stories and seeing the local celebrities on TV. When I became an adult and decided on a career path in the motion picture industry, an industry that supports Variety the Children’s Charities throughout the country, I hoped that one day I could be a board member and take an active role in being a change in the lives of children with special needs. I’ve been a board member for more than 10 years now. I am as thrilled and excited today to be a part of Variety as I was when I first became a board member. This is a charity where one person really can make a difference and where the money raised stays in the Greater KC Metro Area. I am proud to have been associated with such a great organization. I look forward to seeing you at the Variety Show on Friday, March 28!

Through our 80 Stories, 80 Days campaign, we are asking all of you who have been touched by our organization in any way to share your story and help us gain more support for Kansas City children with developmental disabilities.

Unique Connect will donate directly to us for every story we collect through this campaign, so please submit your story now
