In early December, we were THRILLED to receive a call from 15 and the Mahomies informing us that they would like to honor a Variety KC kid with the surprise of a lifetime!! Isaac and his family thought they were chosen to be a part of a commercial about Patrick Mahomes’ incredible foundation, 15 and the Mahomies, and for his recent nomination for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year. Little did they know that Patrick Mahomes was really waiting to surprise Isaac with tickets to the Super Bowl!!! 🏈

Hy-Vee’s 23rd Annual Golf Tournament

In June ’23, Variety KC raised over $125,000 in their annual golf scramble. This event was another huge success from a sell-out in golfers to the most money raised for this event!

Variety KC & the NFL provide sensory relief for the NFL Draft

Variety KC worked closely together with the NFL so that every person can enjoy the Draft. There are several sensory friendly zones at the NFL Draft. The noise, lights, and activity may cause over-stimulation for some. Variety KC will provide sensory bags so that all can enjoy this exciting time for Kansas City!

Variety KC debuts its power soccer field at the new Central Bank Sports Complex in the Northland. Typically, this sport must be played indoors in a gym, and now, kids get to play outside alongside all athletes.
