Jeremiah is a 10-year old boy with spina bifida, but that doesn’t slow him down! He is very active in adaptive sports and loves competition. A sports wheelchair would allow him to complete at a higher level. Currently he participates in wheelchair basketball with the Kansas City Kings. Shared chairs are often available, but frequently are difficult to adjust based on individual needs. A personal sports wheelchair would allow consistency and the autonomy to practice outside of scheduled practices and games….and best of all, it would allow Jeremiah to continue participating in a sport he loves!
