Some of the best fundraisers coincide with our favorite holidays, especially Valentine’s Day. The day of Cupid is perfect for selling candies and treats for charity since everyone’s looking for something a little sweet. One of our favorite fundraisers to throw is the Hugs & Kisses drive.
There’s an old saying that the fastest way to a man’s heart is through is stomach. However, we think this speaks for everyone! Who doesn’t love fresh baked goods or their favorite family recipe. If you have a large group that loves to cook and wants to fundraise through the Catie Cares program, then we have two fun ideas for you. Offer Christmas cookie baking services or write a cookbook. Both are great for every level of chef.
Do you work for a company or organization where the business attire is always required? Speak with your Human Resources department to see if they’ll let you hose a jeans day for Variety of Greater Kansas City.
During the summer, many of us want to be outside as much as possible. By throwing a fundraiser car wash, you and your group can have some fun in the sun.
Part of the mission behind the Catie Cares program is to spread fun and awareness about Variety of Greater Kansas City. A great way to generate buzz and raise funds is to host a game night. There are a few ways to go about it, but we really like hosting a board game or trivia tournament.
